Care and CleaningCare and Cleaning

Marysol fabrics are 100% Stain Resistant. However, we recommend the stain is treated as soon as possible. Use lukewarm soapy water and a sponge. Rinse with water afterwards; remove the excess with a clean towel.  It’s that Easy!
Our fabrics are made out of olefin fibers. This material makes our fabrics very resistant to chemicals. Our tests show that after exposure to salt water, chlorine, acetone, or thinner on to the fabric we see no change in texture, color or other properties.
Always avoid that Marysol fabrics get in touch with hot metallic objects, such as plates or dryers hotter than 20° C. (68 degree Fahrenheit)
Laundry Air Dry Procedure
We also suggest the following washing method known as LAD or Laundry Air Dry. This procedure includes:

  1. WashMarysol fabrics in the washing machine, using the warm cycle.
  2. Remove the fabric from the washing machine.
  3. Hang dry until the fabric is completely dry. Do not use hot dryer after.

Procedure for Laundry Cold Drying Cycle
Lastly, we may also suggest this laundry-drying procedure:

  1. Remove the fabric of the washing machine after the washing cycle ended.
  2. Put the fabric in the dryer at 20° C (68° F) for 3 to 5 hours.
  3. Put the fabric in a room with not less than 20° C (68° F) and a non greater relative humidity of 65% for 6 to 8 hours, until the fabric is completely dry.
  4. Dry hanging articles or leaving the furniture outdoors.

For a difficult spot:
Clean the fabric with a damp sponge in a solution of any household cleaner, solvent or stain remover. Increasing the concentration you would normally use. Just be careful of the other adjacent materials on which that solution may get, which may not withstand all chemical products. Rinse with water afterwards; remove the excess with a clean towel.
